CBSE Board exam 2019: Pre-exam counselling begins
BENGALURU: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun pre-exam counselling to keep students and parents calm.
Besides sending an advisory to parents, it also introduced Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) on toll-free number 1800 11 8004. Students can access pre-recorded information on tackling board exams, including tips for better preparation, time and stress management and FAQs, along with live tele-counselling services.
The tele-counselling is being offered voluntarily by principals and trained counsellors. CBSE has appointed 85 counsellors in India and other countries. An audio-visual presentation, 'Knowing children better', has been uploaded on the CBSE website. The topics deal with real-time experiences and problems of adolescents. Students can avail online counselling, where an expert will answer queries, till April 4.
